Best 1080 Ti

I intend to wait till the RTX comes out and buy a 1080 Ti on the cheap, I am just not sure which one would complement my rig best.

I have

X99S Gaming 7 Motherboard

GTX 1070 Sea Hawk

i7 5820 CPU 3.3 Ghz Water Cooled

48GB RAM

Killer Elite Networking card

Gateway FHX2300 bmd 23-Inch Widescreen LCD Display - Black

Samsung 850 EVO 250GB

STRYKER Cooler Master Case

 

I used to be pretty much into gaming, MMORPG, FPS, Single player Games, I also have a HTC Vive VR system.

Graphics is very important, but only as long as it does not interfere with gameplay.

 

Also any tips on upgrades to my system are appreciated.

 

P.S. I don't want to spend too much on upgrades
