How Cryorig H7 will perform with i5 8500? (ambience temp:38c)

Hiten Das

with the stock cooler, my i5 8500 stays at 80C when it is under load.

it is summer in my place and the temperature is 36-38C (sometimes 40) in my place.

so i need a good cpu cooler.

How much cpu temperature will i see with the Cryorig H7 cooler at max load?

Should i Buy this?

I want My pc to be cooler and quiter.

Thank you.

It's better than a Hyper 212+ evo and the 8500 isn't exactly a demanding chip to cool. Intel just uses crappy stock coolers.

FYI while gaming my 1600 is around 55c

Some people say that Hyper 212 is a very loud cooler and is very tall.

H7 is more compact and the stock fan isn't loud.

If the Arctic Freezer 33 eSports ONE is available I'd reccommend that as it's the best value air cooler

Can't compare with Ryzen, the soldered IHS has a 15-20C advantage.

Go for a thermalright cooler, same price around $50 might be a bit bigger.

Tends to cost more than other 120mm coolers with similar performance, like a Hyper T4

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

air coolers only from Cooler Master, Antec and Cryorig are available in my country.

online markets like amazon doesn't give good service in my country.

so i have to depend on the local market.

If the Arctic isn't available than the CryoRig H7 is the best bet

They're all going to be around the same unless one has a faster fan.

Kitguru puts it below the Hyper 212 for cooling

Well it can handle @seoz 's 8600K at 5GhZ under 70C while a Hyper 212 reached 88 IIRC

also your link doesn't work

It's a locked chip that isn't being pushed.

The Hyper 212 can be loud with the fan at high rpm but can easily keep temps in check for the 8500 with low rpm.

80c at load is fine.

The H7 is good and load temps should be ~60c.

Every aftermarket cooler mentioned would be plenty for cooling.

The Hyper 212 peaked at 70°C and the Arctic Freezer 33 eSports One peaked at 68°C, both at 5GHz.

I would still rather not give money to Cooler Master, Cryorig H7 all the way, baby.

Thank you all.

I think i should buy the Cryorig H7 (according to your vote for it and it's quieter operation capability)

Thanks for your suggestions.
