Do white cases discolor overtime?

Depends on what their made of, how and if you clean them, and if they get much exposure to UV light.

If it's not plastic it'll be okay. When was the last time you saw a yellowed car, for example?! xD

Good point. But I'm pretty sure the NZXT H500 is made out of metal so should be fine in my case? (No pun intended)

Only thing I could see is at lot of times white turns yellows if its in direct sun light a lot.. so as long as you keep it out of the sunlight, you should be fine with it staying true to its color.

That's due to the clear coat on cars. Anywhere on my truck, my dad's truck, and my mom's car, that the clear coat has worn away, the paint yellows.

It really depends. Personally, I like the look of yellowed plastics.

Painted metal vs molded plastic are two different things. The H500 should be fine

That is not what you should worry about. Any quality case won't discolour. It discolours as much as a plastic food container you never put food in. Basically no change whatsoever. Only worry if you are blasting UV light on it or having a pool party on it ^^
