PC wont boot with gpu as video output

Hipperpyah

Soo basically im building pc for my brother. Specs are Pentium G4560 1050 8gb ram 430xfx ts psu and msi b250m pro-vd mobo.

Gpu is fine cause i tried it on different pc, and it just wont output any display output. Tried updating BIOS didnt work, tried reseting cmos, didnt work. Made bios settings default, didnt work. Tried to uninstal igpu driver with DDU, didnt work. Any idea what could the problem be? It has no 6pin on it. Ive build few pcs in past, but ive never had problem like this.

Might it - by any chance - be the PSU? :o

The 1050 is an efficient card and in most cases won't need the 6-pin anyway, thus you observing it's lack of presence.

I have completely missed the part where you talk about tweaking settings in the bios and everything, so the problem is indeed just your GPU, are all the cables plugged on it all the way in? And are the fans spinning? Have you tried a different monitor?

Made bios settings default

Did you turn off the iGPU in BIOS and make PCIe default?

Your language was inexact on this point.

You shouldn't need to..

It will SHOULD automatically detect that a GPU is installed in the PCI-E X16 slot, and disables the iGPU all on it's own.

Which output ports on the GPU have you tried?

Which ports does the monitor support?

Since you're in the BIOS, does it detect the GTX 1050 -- does it show up in the BIOS?
