i5 4460 and 980 Bottleneck?

Floppy friends at school believe an i5 4460 bottlenecks a gtx 980 smh

 

I know this is obviously false but just tell me it's false....

 

Though they also said the 980 is equivalent to a 1070 and a 980 ti is equivalent to a 1080 and I'm just like giphy.gif.5a9bc521194a17e5fd6e2ee148ef832b.gif

4460 bottlenecks 980, in CPU-heavy tasks including some games.

That means your i7 2600K is being majorly bottlenecked by the 1070

no the i5-4460 is not a bottleneck, in some games like GTA V, yeah probably but most games most likely not.
(excluding the shitty unoptimized games like Assassins Creed Origins, that will obviously be a bottleneck with that CPU)
