Heres my story.

I am from Serbia looking to buy a GPU, Based on the RTX 2080 release I'm not impressed so i decided on getting a 1080ti... But here they are over $1100.

Luckily I have a cousin in America coming next month so i need help deciding which 1080 ti to ask her to get me since they are way cheaper in the US.

The problem is I don't know which American stores are good price/value since everything is overpriced here. I was looking at amazon FE is like $500 EVGA $600 Gigabyte about $700

Now these are very different prices so i wanted to ask for advice here. Which one would you guys recommend and where should she buy it from.

My current PC is

Z87-A

I7-4700k

16 GB DDR3 1600 mhz

GTX 770

^ill probably upgrade the motherboard ram and cpu next time my cousin goes to America haha.

I’d just get the cheapest 1080 you can find but I’m a bit biased towards EVGA :D

Any reason for the bias? also where did you get it

As i said im not from America i don't know which store is cheapest and I'm thinking Amazon is giving me fake prices because of location :/

My first build was built like a month ago with a 1080 that I got like 2 months beforehand and it was an EVGA. It’s been a great run and I’ve heard EVGA has excellent customer service (not sure for non US customers) so that was a big plus as well. I used to have a 750Ti from MSI I believe and the looks of the EVGA cards are to my liking (also Asus and some other big brands I can’t think of right now but I’ll stay loyal to Asus and EVGA lol)

But yeah not really a big reason, I just like whatever works and looks good
