What items from Linus Tech Tips can we, the average watcher win and can we get stuff from the e-waste pile that as a few videos have shown, is actually pretty nice

Nothing like that. Not even swag. Not unless you actually go to LTX. Shipping would make it impossible as shipping to just US is over $20. Overseas even more.

You can expect a decent gaming rig if a company sponsors it. 

 

Basically a company will say “hey, we will give you some computers for a giveaway if you do a video about us.” That’s usually how it goes down. I think the company likely sends LMG some money too as LMG likely gets overloaded with business offers. I think they have 1-2 dedicated people to deal with incoming emails.

As crunchy dragon said it’s a bit more than that. I don’t think it’s secretary but it’s something like business something. I think Colton is the name of the guy that does it. He also takes care of YouTube stuff. He’s the one that got some copyright strikes against the main channel. (Sorry that I’m referring to you by a mistake you made! I don’t quite remember your job description nor title.)

A lot of us keep up on the YouTube stuff - posting, adjusting, updating, etc. I do spend a lot of time reading emails and on the phone with different brand partners, coordinating various sponsorships and projects. Also Channel Super Fun, LTX, and a few other initiatives.

 

I did copyright strike the channel twice in 2015, that will forever be my legacy.

This is my personal profile if anyone is wondering.

So a Friend of mine hit me up and sent me a post on CL ...actually this guy he knew posted his computer for sale. I was in literal shock for 20 mins. My Gf even saw and was too. So I got to know the dude and we worked out a deal. I was blown away how nice he was about the whole situation. Long story short he just couldn't keep it no more. He won it by jumping in a random give away intel did soon after LTT posted the Console PC all in one episode.... ...seriously he didnt expect to win but HE DID WARN ME it was a pain in the ass if you ever win Lots of signing your life away, affidavits. But he never got to use the thing for a real gaming station. Which it deserves to be.

 

So I own it now and I feel it has a proper home. Btw I would like to thank the guys at LMG and linus/Luke (big fan)

Ps. I'm not interested in having this GPU . So if anyone would like it. Pm me. Psps.  Fun fact maxines signature is on here too supposedly.

The way forum works, Admins have more power than Staff. Mortis could fix the things so that they have different banner while group remains, but probably is too minor thing.
