Good thermal pads for Gaming Laptop?

For some reason, my laptop got Motherboard VRM Thermal throttling. It can't keep the i7-8750H stable at it boost clock and go down to the base clock ( 2.2 Ghz ) all cores. If I use a better thermal pas for the VRM, will it run better? And also a good thermal paste recommendation pls! Tks!

 

P/s: No liquid metal pls! I am using this laptop for school and work, so can't take that risk.

Noctua has a good set of thermal paste nt01 i think it was called (not sure)

Yeah, some of my friends do recommend it, but how about IC Diamond, Linus used it alot.

Idk, i use a noctua paste. Works perfect. Max 60C load on my stock cooler of the ryzen 7 1700

Arctic thermal pads, 1mm and 0.5mm can be bought in 145x145mm packages.  Cheap and goes a long way.

Coolermaster Mastergel Maker Nano for thermal compound.
