you mean os on ssd and games on hdd

Yes. The biggest performance loss comes from Microsoft background tasks while game is loading, but if the OS is on the ssd these background tasks dont impact games on the hdd. Also windows is overall much more responsive on the ssd, instead of an hdd.

Hi there

I am building a B450 system for a friend

Came to think of it after watching Linus' video on StoreMI, StoreMI don't seem to give a big benefit

What would make most sense:

  • Just keep the drives separate

  • Use the free StoreMI because it does give a little benefit

  • Use FuzeDrive Basic, seems to be more finished than StoreMI

  • Buy PrimoCache - like Linus in the end recommended (but it costs most of the other

Issue is, if anything goes wrong down the line, I know who he will call - ME - so I need a solid solution that give the best compromise between speed, usability and cost
