Installing windows. Need help.

K i a r a

Hey.

So I just bought new SSDs for my Desktop and Laptop, I am currently reinstalling it on my desktop.

I at this screen.

Where you select the drive.

Drive 0 is my new SSD

Drive 1 is my HD.

I do not care about losing anything on my HD so I can fully delete it. I don’t mind.

But how do I make it so it installs on my SSD?

And what do I delete.

I do not wanna mess up this part.

Thanks

First, you can install windows on your SSD by just installing it on drive 0. After you have windows up and running, you can wipe the old windows from your HDD in disk manager and reformat it.

Well I kinda jumped the gun.

And just deleted the HD right now.

Should I format the SSD right now? Before selecting it.

Delete all 3.

Then there will be 2 left. click [New] to make a new one one.

[ It will create extra partitions like system/recovery etc thats fine just click yes and do the same for the second storage]

Make sure you do this for both primary storage

and once you do that make sure to choose which primary you wish to install the windows on and click next. simple as that

Hey.

I was wondering if I have a USB with windows on it.

Do I have to reinstall windows iso on it every time? Or can I just keep it on it.

Like I just fresh installed windows on my desktop and would like to on my Laptop.. can I?

If the ISO is already configured and up to date then no need to delete it from the USB, all it will do in the future is if there has been new updates rolled out it will do through a longer process during Windows update.

You should be fine mate. it depends on you if you want the latest version or an old one or etc...........But  to answer your question you don't need to burn the same iso into the usb again. and if you don't mind [Mark solved]
