My friend wants a laptop for under $550 that can play modded elder scrolls and modded fallout. He is used to console graphics, so the mods are going to be item mods, and not texture mods. He will be just fine playing all of the games on the lowest settings. I tried to convince him of a desktop, but he refuses. Suggestions?

On a laptop no less, that's on Intel graphics, it's not happening.

Challenge accepted.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834312829 This should do the job. http://www.anandtech.com/show/7106/amds-a105750m-review-part-1-the-apu-and-radeon-hd-8650g-performance/3 for Gaming benchmarks. Although you still still really convince him to get a desktop, show him the benchmarks side by side

Stuff I have I like: Moto G - Superlux HD681 Evo - Monoprice 9927
