So I got 600 USD to spend what card should I get?

MineNightOwl

I could probably bump it up to 650 but that's about it, used cards and new, doesn't matter to me, was looking at a 1080ti or a 1080 hybrid, any suggestions?

Currently got a 980 hybrid if it's not in my signature.

Yes.

And 600USD should be plenty for a new card.

I would definitely wait at this point if you can.

The newest rumors say that there will be RTX cards and GTX cards.

RTX will have the new RayTracing tech.

RTX 2070 7GB (about 17% faster than 1080 and 40% faster than 1070, $300-$500 estimated price)

GTX 2060 5GB (about 27% faster than 1060 but 7% slower than 1070, $200-$300 estimated price)

GTX 2050 4GB (about 50% faster than 1050ti but 18% slower than 1060, $100-$200 estimated price)
