Hi

My computer has a gtx 1080ti and an intel core i7 7700, and recently i have experienced really bad framedrops when gaming.... I used the task manager to check what was wrong and it said that when i was playing my gpu was being used 0% and i was just playing using my prossesor.

And the monitor is plugged into the graphics card

What can i do?

Where do you have your video cables plugged into? Is it in your motherboard or graphics card?

I made this a while back, but this should illustrate what we're trying to tell you. Make sure your monitor isn't connected to the motherboard on the top side of the back, but rather to the graphics card, which is located in the bottom.

If you open Task Manager while the game is running, does it say it's using GPU - 0? Typically GPU - 0 is the iGPU if you have it enabled. Though you can verify this by going to the Performance Tab and seeing what it reports for GPU 0
