You won't have a problem with bottle-necking in respects to how the CPU sees it. Your system can hit 100% use I assure you. Now with games and apps these days you may run into the odd bug or performance issues. In such case contact Nvidia and the developers to resolve it.

Good to go!

There's really no reason to buy that tier of GPU for a 1080p 60hz display

and RX 570/580 will be fine for 1080p 60hz gaming at medium-high.

8GB 580s are down to $249

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Can you provide a link to a good 580 around $250 please?

That's the only one on sale now, along with the sapphire model, the sapphire one might have a bit better cooler on it, just check reviews.

I run this card....   Battlefield 1 on ultra runs 80fps+.   Fortnite on Epic is 75+.  Pubg is 60+...

Doesn't get too hot either...   The fan can get a little loud though... I need to add another exhaust fan to my case.

Yes. Every single Gaming PC will always have a Bottleneck at all times. No Bottleneck = unlimited fps. Which you never will have ^^

A bit more precise: Your question cannot possibly be answered. What bottlenecks and how much has nothing to do with the CPU - GPU combination, but depends entirely on your Software + Settings.

Another step, and probably the most helpful: Does your CPU deliver enough fps for you or not? If yes, there is no problem. Don't waste any thoughts about Bottlenecks. You will never get rid of them. Never.

If no, then the GPU is completely uninteresting. Your CPU is the problem, since it doesn't deliver enough fps for you. It won't regardless which GPU you pair it with.

Before you let some people who don't even know what software is beeing used tell you to buy a RX 580 instead 1070 ti/1080^^ If you're someone that needs maxed out utlra settings, you will be lucky in some games to hit a 30 fps lock with a RX 580 / GTX 1060. Rise of the Tomb Raider for example.

Please start by telling us first what Games you even want to play at what settings?

Do you only play CS:GO on Low quality and nothing else? Then even a 1050 ti or RX 570 4gb <200€ is more than enough.

Do you play AAA-Titles and you want at least high settings? That's a different story. Neither the RX 580 nor the GTX 1060 will guarantee you 60 fps here, if you max out all settings - regardless of the CPU.

TL;DR: RX 580, or GTX 1060 is fine for 1080p / 60 Hz gaming - as long you reduce some settings in some games. Not all will hit 60 fps maxed out.

Depending on Games and Settings, you can make use of a 1070 ti / 1080, especially when you think about the next 3-4 Years ^^ RX 580 / GTX 1060 for 240-280 bucks will be the smartest choice however, when it comes to price to performance.

However, keep in Mind, Nvidia could announce the GTX 2070/2080 in 8 days already.

I don't think it will bottleneck in any significant way. You can probably pair that CPU with a 1080Ti and you will have to look very hard for a game that will run into a cpu bottleneck. And even if you find such a game it will still run so fast that it doesn't matter.
