Cellphone Call Quality

It’s 2018 and every call made on cellular data no matter the phone sounds like shit. If you use something like FaceTime audio or google hangouts or other services that use normal data like browsing the internet does it sounds amazing. Is it because 4G LTE doesn’t have the fidelity in its technology and 5G would alllow better quality or is it greedy companies.

Just keeping this here as a Ive seen other people on the internet complaining that non POTS phone calls sound like crap. Like the guy over a DSLreports thats fighting with Verizon to have them fix the POTS lines while they are trying to push him on FIOS. Ive never had any issues with VoIP as we had Comcast digital voice and it sounded fine. T Mobile sounds good every time I call out. Sprint was the only provider where I had issue, and most of that was getting calls to connect to lack of service and shit customer service. 

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
