How to update old bios?

Im building an i5 2500k, 8gb ram , gtx 1050, with a 550w fatality ocz psu on an asus p8b75-v. I have everything working but it says the current bios settings arent fully supported by the boot device, wd blue hdd. What settings in csm do i change? (It says in buos to go to addvance>boot>csm parameters)

Are you trying to boot from a USB device?

If you have Windows 10/8.1 installed on that drive, it's most likely because your board is running in legacy mode. UEFI is pretty much the standard at this point for systems.

 

That being said, if Windows was installed from a previous machine, I would warn you it might not boot correctly. In that case, a reinstall of Windows will be required.

It is a windows 10 install i did a few months ago, so i should set everything to uefi?

Try that. I have a hunch that Windows 10 install was on a UEFI machine. The stuff I mentioned above about booting Windows installations of other machines still applies.
