Logicweb hosting provider threating me for Review in Facebook

Guys,

 

I used to run a Indian Tech Blog website by Logicweb hosting provider.

(Just tech news related to Indian Market)

 

Their server performance was average, but they used to change server configurations and service plans all the time without informing.

Example - change the PHP MySQL version, changes in PHP.INI settings, FTP Port, CPanel Port and URL etc.

 

When complained, their support team was very very rude.
They think every one in this world are 'tech savvy'.

 

After such bad support and also getting insulted multiple time, I decided to switch the provider.

 

I also posted a 1 STAR Review in their Facebook Page.

 

In reply, I got this rather THREAT email -

I would laugh at them. You have done nothing wrong. They could have a defimation claim if you were 100% making some outrageously false claims that hurt their business, but you are entitled to your opinion and/or review. They would also have to prove that your review was done with malicious intent to hurt their business.

 

None of that is actually true, so I would laugh at them as they have no leg to stand on. I would instead send that email to the attorney general in their area... or at least report it. If anything they are the one making threats.

That is a THREAT.

Ignore them for now and make sure you document every email they send you with all of their actual threats about your "threat" to them.

Just to add to this, they are based out of the US and have ZERO legal basis to sue for a negative review.

Now they are harassing you. Depending on what else they try to dig up they could also be hit for stalking.

Yeah this company is 'iffy' at best looking at some other reviews, you really need to report this company to your local authorities (in the UK we call this trading standards).

Less than zero legal basis to sue you there and what even is that email. Keep those emails just in case though, it's possible you have standing to sue them which would be damned funny
