Need recommendations for my first PC

I have quite limited money to work on so I cut off some extra costs and planned not to overclock. Therefore,I've come up with this build that I thought would be sufficient for modern games.

Motherboard: Asus H110M-K mATX

CPU: Intel Core i5 8400 Six Core LGA 1151 2.8 GHz

Cooling: Stock

RAM: Kingston 16GB kit (2 x 8GB) HX424C15FB2K2 DDR4

Graphics Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 G1 Gaming 8GB

HDD: Western Digital Blue 1TB SATA3 HDD 64M Caviar Blue WD10EZEX

PSU: Corsair VS Series™ VS550 550 Watt

Case: Cooler Master mATX Case Elite 344 Blue

Monitor: Samsung LS24F350FHEXXY 24inch Full HD FreeSync LED

Total Cost: ~1600 AUD

P/s: I'm really keen on getting the best performance from my PC rather than ensuring aesthetic aspects :P but I afraid that the i5-8400 might restraint the 1080 performance capacity. Thanks for the help!

no point getting a 1080 when all you have is a 75hz 1080p monitor, get a gtx 1070/ti and use the money for a 240gb SSD, 144hz/1440p monitor and corsair CX instead. also, H110 boards are incompatible, you need a H310 board at least.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

I thought that the h110m works just fine with a LGA1151 socket like that i5 8400

coffeelake CPUs don't work on 100/200-series motherboards.
