So just out of interest whats your normal gaming week look like?

Mine is as follows:

1. I game for about 15 hours a week.

2. I play the following titles in order of most time

a. Post Scriptum
b. Squad
c. Insurgency
d. Escape From Tarkov
e. RUST

I am very much part of an established, pretty large semi competitive gaming clan (ZXD) and use discord to meet up, have a laugh and get in game. Where possible we use in game comm's system.

I'm a gaming tech nerd and put alot of time into my kit and understanding how it all works. I also like to watch youtube gamers and prob lose another 10 hours a week there.................

EDIT- I also forgot my Vive VR set up, as a side project I have put together a motion platform todo events, it's specifically a roller coaster. But i also enjoy a bit of VR like Onwards and various other bits and bobs, kinda scared to go into The Forest but that will happen soon I am sure! LOL

Follow this format and post, be great to see what others get up to.

Before going on a hiatus from PC gaming a few weeks ago, my average week consisted of some FFXIV, CK2 with a friend, TW Warhammer 2 with another friend, and one or two squad matches in PUBG. For the last 6 months I've spent an average of probably 15 hours a week gaming, though before that it was more like 30-40 hours per week.

I play around 36 ~ 42 hrs a week (yes i have no friends or commendable social life) .

Most of my time is spent on work during the weekdays, (8 hrs work a day) flexible times, and after work i game for some 4 hrs straight everyday before i hit the sack. The rest of the time for is spent on food and some housekeeping.

During weekends all i do is well play.

There is only one game i play and its Planetside 2, although i also play single player games but not so often. Most of the time its just Planetside 2 for me.

I am part of the largest OUTFIT (kinda like clans, guilds) in the server and i often lead a full platoon of 42 players into the battle. We use discord and teamspeak and ingame comms to lead the platoons and its great.

The command line goes like this

A Platoon consists of 4 Full squads with each squad having 12 members, each with its own squad lead, Its the duty of the platoon leader to provide way points to the squad leads and update the tactical map with plans of invasion and its the duty of the squad leads to make sure the members of their squad follow through. The platoon leaders will be overlooked by the Big guy's who form the Command. They are the ones that command/control all the outfit and commands all the platoons from the outfit, they may take direct control of a platoon personally if they wish so. They overlook the entire operation and decide which platoon does what, weather we should go invade or defend our territories, and its upto the platoon leads how they do it. Its pretty fun actually when you have friends. But leading a full platoon can quickly become very tiresome and often times tedious as most of the time you will be looking at the map to analyzed the ongoing battle and update the map so as to point your troops in the right way, all while trying to outwit the enemy platoon leaders, avoiding their traps and trying to outmaneuver them. Sometimes you just dont want to lead and all you want to do is run and shoot the enemy. But well Hey leading a platoon to success gives you free bonus XP and medals, so theres that.

I usually game on weekends. University life is busy and that often means I only have the weekends to myself and it's usually late at night. The exception is during breaks, where I have more time to play.

I predominantly played racing games back in the day, and I still do albeit not as much. In the order of game time over a month period, they are;

  • Forza Horizon 3
  • The Crew 2
  • GRID Autosport

However, I play other varieties of games. They include;

  • Team Fortress 2
  • Left 4 Dead 2
  • PlanetSide 2
  • Grand Theft Auto IV

I used to play a lot on console, but Battlefield 3 and Team Fortress 2 (owned it on PS3 and PC) introduced me to PC gaming and some of its best traits. It was then that I slowly progressed my PC gaming rig to the laptop you see today, and eventually a desktop.

I’ve moved to casual controller gaming. It’s more relaxing. I’d play more siege but my friends can’t play right now so I haven’t in forever.

Competative FPS amd multiplayer are too stressful for me. I’m really bad & kinda just want to go through the game without huge roadblocks.

Casual open world fps games have a little bit of everything & that just helps them be diverse & easy. Usually for a few hours a day or every few days though.
