Any Guides on How to clean Install windows onto your Laptop?

Hey,

 

I recently got a New laptop.

And, Was suggested on doing a clean install of widows, Due to Lenovo doing some fishy things in the past, Would like to clear all that out.

 

Ive clean installed windows on my PC before, But never on a laptop.

I was looking for a guide on how to go about doing it, What do to before, etc.

 

Is it posible you can just do it on windows? Like this.

I dont have anything on the laptop atm, Besides a Undervolting program.

 

Would look for some helpful tips, Videos.

Boot into the Windows Installation media (find it here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows10), choose custom installation, when it asks you to select a target disk, delete all the partitions you find (assuming the system has only one drive), then make a new partition and install.

But I have Installed WIndows 10 From that link, Onto my USB, Not sure how get to the "choose custom installation, when it asks you to select a target disk, delete all the partitions you find (assuming the system has only one drive), then make a new partition and install." you said.

This should help you. The installer hasn't been changed much since Windows Vista.

I dont even know how to get to the Format screen .-. ... 
Like if I hit the power button it just takes me to my desktop..

Oh. When your turn on the system, you need to tell it to boot from the USB using the Boot Menu. Or you can go into the BIOS and set the bootable USB as a higher priority than the current disk.

Hey,

 

So im at the point of the install where I pick the Drive,,

 

I only have the 1tb Hardrive.

But I dont know what to delete, etc.

 

What I see on my screen is.

 

I know Lenovo has a Backup, I think its the 26GB one Idk what to do.

Are you trying to install with a fresh key/using your MS account? Or are you going to use the OEM stuff that came with the laptop?

Useing what came on the laptop, Got it working now tho :^)

Just uninstall all programs from Lenovo that you don't want and that's all. This is not some modified Windows that you have preinstlled. It's just clean Windows with extra tools - some of them may be useful, some don't.
