Will the Be Quiet! Dark Rock 4 Pro fit?

ThatFrizie

Hello everyone.

I recently bought a new cpu being the 8700.

And i've been using the stock cooler (Which is SUPER loud).

So i was looking for an upgrade. I decided i wanted either the dark rock 4 or the dark rock pro 4 from be quiet.

But i'm not sure if the pro will fit.

My motherboard: MSI H370 gaming PRO Carbon

I also have 1 ram stick: Balistix Elite 3200mhz 1x 8gb

Case: NZXT Razer H440

So will the Be Quiet Dark rock 4 Pro fit and will the non pro even fit?

PC specs:

I7 8700

1x 8gb Ballistix Elite 3200MHZ

MSI Gaming Trio RTX 2080

G650M PSU

120gb Kingston SSD

3TB of HDD

NZXT S340 elite Black/Red

You don't need a cooler that big. Just get something cheap like an H7.

I really wanted a really bulky one because i want my pc to be extremely quiet and i don't mind spending that much on a cooler. (As i was originally going to get watercooling from Corsair)

PC specs:

MSI Gaming Trio RTX 2080

G650M PSU

120gb Kingston SSD

The fan will make more of an impact than the size of the cooler.

Don't water cool an 8700. It's just a waste of money.

Any halfway decent aftermarket cooler is more than enough fora non-K CPU.

Yes i know i but i don’t mind paying extra i just want to know if the dark rock 4 pro will fit without interfering with my ram or motherboard.

You can achieve that with non-pro too. They have same fan, pro just has 2 of them. Making it more noisy than non-pro.

Case and RAM are fine. With mobo it will block 1st PCIe slot. But so do all 140mm and bigger towers. Which is why you don't buy them with ITX boards.
