HDD PROBLEM

Hello my problem is about my HDD 3.5, you see it was from my old PC which was dispose of few months ago and of course it has windows inside and all my files(and the HDD is not broken)

now i tried to access the drive by dissembling a external HDD, take its sata to usb adapter then put it in my 3.5 drive plug it in my laptop but it wasnt detected at all but its blinking even the disk management cant detect anything, next I plug my another 2.5 HDD which was from my another laptop with windows also and luckly its detected.... how come my 3.5 HDD wasnt detected if the other 2.5 HDD was detected.... please help me i dont know which is wrong, and i dont wanna lose my 3.5 HDDs files

The USB SATA adapter can't power a 3,5" HDD. You need an adapter with a separate power cable. A 2,5" HDD only needs 5V, a 3,5" needs 12V.

You need a power cable. You can power it off your PC.
