inwin 805c Question

VMBRA_

Hi guys I just bought an inwin 805c and I am wondering if I can place a 360 mm AIO like corsair h150i pro inside of it, if I remove the HDD Trays, so I can have 2 fans perfectly aligned at the front.

If any owner of onw of those can tell I would be most grateful :)

Not a 360mm AIO, but you can fit up to a 280mm rad in the front.

the Idea was to fill all the available space in the front with RGB fans on the radiator. 3 seems to be good but I don't know if I can do that with a 280 mm radiator. I think only 2x fans, and don't know if they will fill the space. Never mounted an AIO before, only traditional air coolers so... Don't want to buy a thing so that when I start to mount it it won't fit or not be able to do what I want.

Like on this quickly made picture...

Black: the case

Red: the radiator

Blue: the fans

Green: PSU and MoBo

Please point me on the right direction.

Your case does not support more than 2 fans in the front of the case. These can be 2x120mm fans, or 2x140mm fans.

Quote
  • 2 x 120/140mm Front Fan
  • 1 x 120 Rear Fan (Pre-installed)
  • 2 x 120mm Bottom Fan
  • 1 x 280mm Front Radiator
  • 1 x 120mm Rear Radiator
  • CPU Heatsink Compatible

ok will try a corsair 280mm (like a 110i or a 115i) and change the radiator fans with 2x corsair LL140 RGB fans.

thanks by the way :)

You can get it to work if you make some modifications

But honestly this case isnt worth it. It looks amazing but the case has no airflow what-so-ever. I would strongly recommend a different case if you have the ability to return it

I cannot return it atm. and yes in those pictures you linked I saw what I want to do. So I already completely removed the HDD bay. Is that all the modifications I will ever need? will h150i fit in there?

I will only start to build it in september, when i get back to Portugal. In the meantime im gathering information so I can plan ahead what I will do.

The modification to get a 360mm rad to fit is shown in the pictures and mentioned in the description.

There is physically enough space for a 360mm to fit there. Radiators are usually a standard length width and thickness especially on AIOs.

Cutting the front bracket for mounting the fans and Rad would void any ability to return the case in the future. If you're concerned with that I would suggest getting a 280mm RAD instead, or a new case.

I am not worried about warranties. I just want to build "the thing" like I planned :)
by the way, you sir were really helpful, thank you :)
