About to puchase my first Build. Few questions !?

Hello,

I'm about to place my order for my first custom build

Any thoughts or advice before I proceed ?

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PWzcMZ

Some of the decisions I made are:

- Asus over Gigabyte and Msi for Motherboard, mostly because it has USB type C and some peaople say Asus is just better for MB

- RX 580 8GB over 1060 6GB mainly because of the Freesync in the monitor ( went for Msi, or should I go for Gigabyte or XFX ? )

- Ryzen 7 2700x because I do graphic designs, 3d animations and rendering ( I also like the cooler :P )

Any thoughts ???

Also a question about Amazon Warranty. If any defect was found in any component during the warranty period and I have to send it back, is the shipping cost covered or should I pay for it ? ( I don't live in the US )

Thank you,

Drop the MX500 for an ADATA XPG SX6000 in m.2. it is the exact same price, the exact same capacity, but twice the speed. You also won't need any SATA cables or power snaking through your case.

[FS][US] Corsair H115i 280mm AIO-AMD $60+shipping

System specs:
Asus Prime X370 Pro - Custom EKWB CPU/GPU 2x360 1x240 soft loop - Ryzen 1700X - Corsair Vengeance RGB 2x16GB - Plextor 512 NVMe + 2TB SU800 - EVGA GTX1080ti - LianLi PC11 Dynamic

Thank you,

Looking good. And same to what knightslugger has suggested, you might want to get a different SSD. Also, would you be willing to spend a little extra for an AC Wifi?

Kindly have a look: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/QM2Cr6

- Replaced the 2.5" SSD with an M.2. I'm suggesting the ADATA 512gb since it's a really good value.

- Replaced the Wifi card with an AC capable one.

I would go for a 144hz monitor as you can get a freesync 144hz for about that price.

Not in my country unfortunately

I was hesitant to get the monitor online cause defects are common so I prefer getting it locally with no shipping cost. 144 hz monitors start at around 300$ minimum

Thank you for the help :)

Haven't considered m.2. the A Data is on sale now so I might actually get it. Thank you :D

I did consider the AC except I won't benefit  from it right now but maybe in the future. I didn't know if it is worth it to spend the difference

as for the M.2 I would consider the 256 GB Adata. ( I already own a WD ssd 250 GB that I will put in the system too )

Thank you :)
