They're compatible but I'd dial down on the motherboard, you don't need that high end of a motherboard and invest that money on a better GPU like a GTX 760.

the motherboard and the cpu were kind of a problem because of the price but you are right

^what Nicholas Marzio said. Kingston HyperX are usually $20 cheaper. Also try a different board like a MSI G45 Gaming for example. This could save you enough to pony up for a GTX 760

i didnt think to go a different mobo. i geuss i like asus more than msi :)

Asus and Corsair (as others have said) demand a high price premium, Maybe get other brands and get a better GPU or something.  Other than that best of luck with your new build!!!

Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea, Mr. Creedy, and ideas are bulletproof.

As I get older I get angrier more cynical, meaner. I feel some warning posts coming. I feel a ban coming. I was warned.
