So I was searching for a case for my new build and by FAR, I like the design and overall look of the NZXT H700i the most.

I have read a lot, that the smart device included is really bad though so I wanted to ask this. There should not be any problem with screwing the device off and just run the fans through normal motherboard connections right?

Sure, I do know, that it is expensive case due to the price tag on the smart device in there, so throwing it out makes the case itself overpriced. But I am content with paying the extra for the looks that absolutely match my taste.

From the temp test I have seen around the web, sure it is not the best, more like mid tier, but with CPU and GPU separate AIO water coolers on 240 separate radiators, it should get the job done just fine especially with no extra overclocking right?

D'oh. I am dumb, don't know how I overlooked that in the sellers offer. Well, that solves it. Thank you.

The non i suffix versions of the NZXT cases are only about a month old, even searching H700 will bring up the i versions so it's understandable that it wasnt known to you :)

Also in case you were wondering, there is no difference between the two other than the fan hub being included or not

Yeah I figured that out after I posted the second time. They are not even actually available in my country yet, only on one shop in form of preorder and one of the shops here actually has a sale for the i versions that give or take is now only around 10 euros more expensive than the non i version should be, so I may still get the i version after all, just to try the device first hand for 10 euros.

And thanks for the info! I actually was not sure if the non i version included the aer rgb fans and strips.

The original did not include RGB fans, however I do believe it might have included a fixed RGB strip at the top, that much is kinda unclear since it's not listed as a direct feature.

If it's only 10 euros more than the no I, then I'd consider it.
