Hello guys. I want to build my first ever PC and i need help with components. I already made one post about a gaming rig, but now i have got more options.

8c8777f9b955ce04a8bed3394ac06a65.png&key

Now I have 0 knowledge about different parts and what not so any explanation as to why each setup is good/bad, what you would change is appreciated. I want to mainly play games on that PC (LoL, CSGO, other games not necessarily with ultra graphics). I also want to buy 144 hz monitor for better CSGO gameplay.

I already have SSD and HDD so I will not change them unless it is very necessary.

I do not want to get over 900$. Keep in mind that prices are very different in America and in PL. For example the same  computer that costs 1000$ in USA (3700PLN) in Poland can costs up to 1500$.

Can be, but does not have to. It would be cool to have tempered glass and be able to ceck whats happening inside of my PC, but RGP and color scheme is not a must.

Do you want a small PC, or a bigger one to allow more expanability?

I'd like to upgrade it in the future

Well, I mean of course you can upgrade a pc in a smaller case, but there are just less room for radiators, (water cooling) and less PCIE slots. (more than one graphic card)

IMO they look better.

Grab a RX 580 4/8GB instead and a freesync 144hz monitor for the smoothest experience

Something like this: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/KQQRsY/gigabyte-radeon-rx-580-8gb-gaming-8g-video-card-gv-rx580gaming-8gd

Unless it is way more expencive than the 1060 6GB

Okay,

Do you have a operating system key already? Or do you want that to be part of the cost?

If you can fit a DDR4-2666 memory kit into the build, that would be good. Both Coffee Lake do notably better with that speed or better.

CM Masterwatt psu are usually very good value.

A 2.5" 5400 rpm hdd seems an odd choice.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Well, I have a Lenovo G710 laptop, which had that HDD in it originally and I purchased SSD to make it faster. I dont want to waste money on another discs when I already have them.

Here is a nice flashy build. Tempered glass. RGB on the RAM and GPU.

CPU - great for the value

CPU cooler - good for future and if you want to get into overclocking a bit.

RAM - It's RAM, has RGB. What else could you ask for?

HDD - Added a 2TB hard drive for you. Faster than your current hard drive, you can clone the stuff from your old one over after you finish the build.

GPU - Trades blows with the 1060 6GB in terms of performance. But since you are buying a freesync display, it's a clear choice. Has RGB too!

Case - Predecessor to the S340 Elite, one of the most popular budget cases of 2017/2018. Looks better if not equal.

PSU - Pretty cheap, but from trusted brand. So no worries there. Not modular, but as long as you have good cable management skills you will be fine.

Wireless Card- I didn't know if you needed this or not, but if you do, here is a nice wifi card made for gaming. One sale too. If you don't need it, just remove it and buy something nice for yourself :D.

Overall this is a great medium budget build. Little bit over, but if you don't need the wifi card, then it will be under. The GPU is on sale right now, so I would buy sooner than later.

CPU, GPU and Motherboard - AMD Combat Crate Bundle, Ryzen 5 1600, RX580 8GB and MSI B350 Tomahawk Motherboard = 1 942,99 zł (Newegg Poland)

CPU - *In bundle*

CPU Cooler - Hyper 212 Evo = 139,00 zł (Morele.net)

Motherboard - *In bundle*

RAM - 2x4 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX = 373,99 zł (Newegg Poland)

GPU - *In bundle*

PSU - EVGA 500B = 215,57 zł (Newegg Poland)

Case - NZXT H500 = 261,99 zł (Newegg Poland)

HDD - Seagate Baracuda 2TB with 64MB Cache = 217,99 zł (Newegg Poland)

CHANGES

CPU - Dropped down a generation, cheaper, but sacrifices a bit of core clock. But then you can get the bundle. Saves even more money, with the same GPU and better motherboard than before.

Motherboard - The bundle includes an upgraded motherboard for a cheaper price in the bundle. Basically does the same thing.

CPU Cooler - Best bang for buck CPU cooler out there. Will let your 1600 turbo quite nicely.

RAM - Dropped down to 8gb of ram. Upgradable in the future. Will be fine for at least a year. As long as you are mostly gaming, light multitasking can be handled as well.

GPU - Same GPU as before, but different cooler and pcb model. Around the same boost clock speeds. Still dual fan.

PSU - Dropped down 100W. Should still be completly fine for the specs you have now. But in the future consider upgrading if you are going to upgrade your CPU or GPU.

Case - Case stays the same. As sexy as ever.

HDD - Actually a little bit of an upgrade here. Loads the games you play the most faster because it loads it into it's cache.

WHAT TO UPGRADE THE FUTURE

CPU - Should be fine for a couple of years. If you have the money though I would upgrade when Zen 2 comes out. (3rd gen ryzen most likely)

Motherboard - Good for a while. AMD allows backward compatibility, so if you get the 3rd gen ryzen, it should still work.

CPU Cooler - Will be fine for at least 3-5 years. As long as you don't overclock or the fan doesn't break. Even if it does the fans are like 10 US dollars, and the cooler itself is cheap as well.

RAM - Upgrade in 1-2 years. Fine for now in most games, but soon almost all games will require at minimum 8GB (8GB is in the part list by the way). And it will barely scrape by. But you only have to buy another 2x4GB kit, and put it next to your already existing RAM.

GPU -  Should be fine for 3-4 years as long as you play 1080p and are willing to drop your settings down the future. By then the new generations will be out, if not two more, and there will be more cheaper options to replace it with.

PSU - Must upgrade if you get a new CPU or GPU, doesn't need to be a big upgrade, just enough to handle the power consumption of the new parts.

Case - It's a case, don't upgrade it until you get a new PC or see a case you really like.

HDD - Get another if you run out of space and use 2 in raid.

PUTTING PARTS TOGETHER (if you didn't know)

CPU - Look up an online tutorial for your model. Quite simple. After putting it in socket, put thermal paste on top of the CPU. About the size of a grain of rice. Then install the cooler, follow the instructions in the box that your cooler came in.

RAM - Very simple, follow motherboard manual. But run in dual channel. -> 1X2X (x is no RAM, 1 and 2 are the ram sticks in the motherboard)

GPU - look up a video, very simple, just put it in the slot.

PSU - Use nice cable managment of course (route the wires through the back of the case and put them through appropriate holes) and plug the wires into the correct spots. Look up a video or tutorial on the right wires, etc.

Case - PSU - slides in the box on the back, storage goes into the 3.5 and 2.5 drive mounts and glass is on the side of course :D

HDD - Plug in the sata and sata power cables to it and install it into the case. (Look at case manual and look up what sata cables look like)

Oh crap i typed a lot. So sorry! :(

There is in fact Newegg Poland, but they transport items from abroad, so I will have to pay the fees and it would cost me the same.
The case is not available on Morele unfortunately, but I might try looking for it somewhere else.

Okay, sorry I didn't know.

The s340 elite would be a good alternative to the h500. I know that is on morele.
