nope, just make sure the sata controller is set to the mode that the drive was initialized in. so if the drive is running in ahci now, make sure to set it to ahci with the new cpu and mb

Windows should be re-installed to work on the new motherboard , the reason why is because different motherboards use different drivers due to the difference in their hardware.  Not required though.  Same with Ubuntu but not sure about a Hackintosh though sorry
