Hey, I'm looking to get some help from people about which path to upgrade my pc in. I'm trying to decide between Ryzen 7 2700/x Intel i7-8700k. I want to stream and play games on pretty much only 1080p. I'm open to suggestions if there is anything else cheaper that could function really well. I plan on streaming fps games (Fortnite, Destiny 2, Anthem on realease, COD BO4, Battlefield games, Escape from tarkov, ETC) So if anyone could help me out that would be awesome!

R7 1700 should still be around $200, but that instead.

but what's your budget/country? If you plan on streaming you'll probably want an 8 core anyways.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I live in Canada so it's not such a big deal for me. I don't really have a budget yet but cheaper is always nicer to look at haha.

R7 1700 it is then, it's $89 cheaper.

Canadian prices are sooo terrible.

Also if you go X470 you might want to set up StoreMI, it's pretty neat tech.
