Posted June 29, 2018 I wanted to install my wd green m.2 SATA SSD into my new ASUS S510, but the SSD is not showing up on the BIOS or the device manager. Is there a way to check whether the SSD is at fault ? or am I doing something wrong ? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... Posted June 29, 2018 check for possibly correct connecting cords or even damage to the pins or cables in the case, that should be a good start for right now. also make sure your bios is booting in order as well, that might be another problem. as for checking if the SSD is failing i would suggest an external case for your SSD and connect it up to a second computer to see if it is even booting it could be a damaged drive as well.
