quick question, what games are you going to be playing at 1440p 100-144hz. because dont expect high settings in AAA-titles with a 1060 on 1440p and a high refreshrate

the witcher 3 with that gpu on 1440p will have an average fps of 50 on the highest setting, so you'd definitely need to turn down some settings for this one.

garry's mod and jedi academy are probably doable, but fallout will also need turning down settings.

personally i'd advice to get a 1080p 144hz monitor instead of the 1440p for a 1060, but if you are planning to upgrade your pc in the near future, go for the 1440p one
