with CF they have fixed most of them but their is still jittering and some frame problems but apart from that no. the only other issue i see is the 650W PSU is a real push with too r9 290x cause it says in the spec for 2x of them you sshould have at least 700w :L so not much room OC wise

780ti for sure crossfire wont scale that well in most of the time and you will run in to more problems and worse game experience overall

Get 2 R9-290 for the price of a single 780Ti if that's possible in your country, in France a 290 cost 350€ and a 780Ti costs 700€, I'll let you do the math.

780ti but not for the reasons listed above...

The frame pacing issue is completely solved with the new R series, only the older 7000 series still has a few issues with DX9 games.

Also if you went for two 280x's i wouldn't want to run them on a 650w that you got "free" its probibily terrible quality, Also if you run a game that doesn't have a Crossfire profile you will be cutting your GPU power in half.

Always go for the more powerful card over two medium cards.

I would go with a non reference 290 and 650w won't be enough for cf/SLI

i will be buying from UK.

also if possible can you send me where you have found those offers on the 290

If i will buy a 290 is going to be a sapphire tri-x

Now from those two

the 290 sapphire eont be as good as a 780 ti. If possible i can find or you people could send me a cheap 780ti. or someone who is selling it.?

so the answer is to get a single cpu.

Yeah, one more powerful GPU is nearly always a better option than 2 weaker ones, not to mention I have calculated the wattage needed for two 280x's not OC'd with an FX8320, a H80I an SSD a HDD to be about 740 Watts so them selling you a 650 Watt one with they cards in an absolute disgrace.

780Ti, isn't worth the extra money IMO, because the 290 is almost as good, 5-7FPS usually

And much cheaper as well. In my neck of the woods, a GTX780 Ti cost >1000 local currency, while an R9 290X can be had for around half of that, quite simple math involved actually, don't you think? ;)

I'd gotten a pair of R9 290Xes and they cost about the same as a GTX Titan in local currency......buy smart, don't just look at the brand. Just look at my keyboard collection, do you see a Razer mechanical keyboard anywhere? That's because I think Razer mechanical keyboards offer terribad value (no, I didn't misspell that word) though it's the most well known due to its marketing.

Two 280X's will perform much stronger than a single 780Ti and 650W is not enough of a PSU for them.  Downside of course is the frame time issue which AMD has mostly fixed now.
