thank you@GoldenLag @Spaceman_Wil . If I go for the Gtx 1070 will I have an problem with screen tearing and shuttering? The Gtx 1070 for around  45  USD  and it really caught my attention the RX 580 is around 380 USD. I've been reading other people's reply in the internet world and so far most of the topics lead to an argument or off topic. (Hahahah, very body is entitled to their opinion). I just want to have a rig that would last me about 3 -4 years without having to worry about upgrades, just a simple maintenance will do, keep it nice and clean.

Thank you once again. Have a great day!

I personally have not seen any screen tearing. I would imagine if you make sure to keep your drivers up to date, you shouldn't have much of an issue.

Hi, I'm thinking about getting new cpu and graphics card but I can't decide on what I should get. I will be using this rig for gaming, content creation and all round work. I currently have a 29" 75 hz  2560 x 1080p monitor with freesync. I have two options: OP1. RX 580  8 gb with R5 2600 16 gb 3000 ram OP.2: R5 1600 gtx 1070 3000 16gb ram.

Thank you, in advance.

Have a good day.

1070 is kinda overkill (for 75hz 1080p gaming), but is a nice choice. It all depends if you want freesync or not. The 580 is rather cheap atm.

Though note the 1070 is quite a bit more powerful than a 580.

If you can you should try and stretch for the 2600x as the 2600 doesnt come with the greatest cooler

if cost is similar i would much rather have the 1070 and 1600 personally...despite of freesync.

performance difference between 580 and 1070 is simply too much to justify an ever so slightly faster CPU.
