SLI is barely usable in gaming, and not worth it. Same thing goes for a titan xp. Just get one 1080Ti.

How is a pascal titan X barely useable for gaming? I've seen Pascal Titan X SLI function perfectly fine in 2 way SLI. Just don't try and use 3 way, it DOES NOT WORK.

it isn't worth the extra cost. SLI doesn't scale like it use to so for 99% of use cases there is no point.

If I have the resolution that called for 2 cards I would. Like great frames in 4K. 2 cards no doubt. Sli works great if the system can handle it. 

 

If you’re ok with the performance of a single card and want to spend the extra cash, a titan is the best option. Or lose that small difference and get a 1080ti. 

 

some peope are happy with less, so they will tell you to go that route as well.
