Hi All,

I have a 2016 Razer Blade with a 512GB NVMe drive in it.

I am almost out of space, and want to have a 2nd drive for my steam library.

I've come up with 2 options:

1. External SSD (Samsung T5 1TB)

2. New internal NVMe (Samsung 970 EVO 1 TB)

Option 1 is cheaper, but I prefer option 2 because read/write speeds on the ESSD are 540/520, while the NVMe is 3500/2500, for not much more money. Keeping the drive internal is also a nice plus, and I feel like I'm getting ripped off by buying the external one when that internal NVMe is so close in price.

The problem is, I have found no way to clone an NVMe drive, as external enclosures for NVMe drives don't seem to exist. Any ideas on how to clone my old Internal drive onto the new one, with only one slot in this razer blade?

Unless of course the general consensus is that the much slower speeds on the external SSD will work for game installs, what do you guys think? I have very little experience with judging read/write speeds and their applications.

Thanks
