[Android] weird "phone" icon in statusbar

Phone screen is locked to vertical orientation so it doesn't switch when you turn the phone sideways.

What does this icon mean? It's been in the statusbar for months now. 

Lenovo k6 note, Android 7.0

Aha, it indeed disappeared when I enabled auto rotate. Thanks.
