So these are my system specs

CPU:ryzen 3 1200 overclocked to 3.7ghz

8gb of dual channel ddr4 ram 2133mhz

GPU:msi gtx 1050ti with a slight overclock of 100mhz on core clock and 500mhz on memory

msi b350pro vdh motherboard

500w EVGA power supply 

1tb wd blue hdd 

 

My question is can I stream on this machine and if so at what quality? Also what program should I use to stream and what are some useful programs for streaming(bots,notifications,alerts,etc.)

Would not reccomend you stream, it will struggle and not be an enjoyable experince for you or the viewer.

Your pc is not for streaming. You want a Ryzen 5, faster ram and a better GPU.

 

If you are to stream now, you can stream at most 720P 30FPS with 1000 bitrate.

Upload speed? You could stream 720p30 at most and propably it would look bad. Plus if you play bit heavier games, games would stutter and look bad too.

My upload speed is about 12mbps

You can try with 720p30 and bitrate maybe 2000kbps. If that's too much for CPU, drop to 480p and 1000-1500kbps.

What if I use GeForce experience to stream this way the gpu encodes rather than the cpu. I’ve tried some test streams and 720p 60fps worked without any game lag but I don’t have someone to tell me if the stream is laggy.

That could work though GPU isn't the greatest either. You can view stream from smart phone or tablet, or check how archive looks afterwards.
