Currently have a Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX Glass case. The airflow is actually quite bad. In order for my case to get adequate cooling, I've replaced everything with ML120s my PC sounds like a jet engine during operation, and I've pretty much miss simpler days back then when acoustics were a feature of my build.

With a 120 radiator, I've actually had my PC kill my RAM before because the 3x140 slots at the top bracket were not all occupied, allowing hot air to recirculate. I took things to the extreme, filled in the third fan slot, and taped off all other openings so that I can positively feel the exhaust. Still, the top of my case gets unpleasantly hot to touch after a session of Battlefield 1, and my i7-4790K (formerly OCed, but would crash only during BF1, so back to stock).

I'm not too fond of taking off the front or top cover, ruining its look, so I'm considering a complete change of case. What's a good case featuring glass panels with decent airflow that doesn't require jet engines to ventilate the thing?

Are you looking for a case completely made out of glass or a case with a glass side panel? Here are some suggestions

Full glass:
- Corsair 570x

- Thermaltake View 71
- Lian Li OC dynamic

Tempered glass side panel:
- H500P Mesh
- Coolermaster MC500mt or any mastercase 5 really
- Silverstone PM01

Phanteks is planning to release an improved version of the Evolv: The Evolv X, I don't know yet if the temps are worthwhile though.

I also saw an interesting mod you can do

Those were done by gosumodz in Germany. If you live in the EU, you can mod your case for about 100€

And people wonder why I always suggest getting cases with actual airflow...

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Couldn't you also just take off the front panel then?

Perhaps look at the Fractal Design Define C or Define R6. A good balance of airflow and noise suppression :) neither will make your case a hot box like the Evolv.

If you really like Phanteks, you could also consider the Enthoo Pro M TG, the exact same interior but with a mesh front panel that doesnt "look like mesh" at first glance
