GTX 1070, 1070Ti or 1080?

Zeorth

I'm going to be getting a new graphics card this weekend but wondering if I should get the GTX 1070, 1070Ti or 1080? Which one gives me the most value?

I think the 1070 or 1070 ti gives you the most value beacuse a overclocked gtx 1070 ti is just as good as a gtx 1080.

Gtx 1070 is a good gpu for 1080p.

I would say that the 1070 or the 1070 ti gives you the most value!

The gtx 1070ti is the one that has had the best pricing for awhile now. It can usually be found near msrp and is about a 1080 in performance.

Considering that Nvidia isn't releasing a next gen card for some time either would be a fine card.  Get the best you can afford and that your budget will allow.

Are all of them future proof for 2-3 years?

personally if i were to upgrade right now, i would get the best i could afford, because soon new gpu's will be out. While a 1070 is very capable, it will be in that ready to upgrade realm once new gpu's come out, if you follow the only upgrade when theres 2 or more better then yours like some do.

iof it was me and my money I would go 1080, ti's are just way to over priced compared to 1080's, @p most cards will last a year or 2 but I would go for the 1080 incase I wanted to up the res in a year or somethink

1070Ti is the best value out of the three in terms of price/performance, although this could change depending on deals.

Dependa what you call "future proof". But I would say yes, unless you plan on playing new games on high resolutions and stupid settings. Honestly IMO a mid end card (960,1060) is capable of holding very well for a few years.

Ultra is stupid. ALWAYS.

Get the GTX 1070 Ti. It costs slightly more than the 1070, but has far better specs and is the best value in the Pascal lineup. The 1080 costs more than the 1070 Ti, but doesn’t offer the same amount of performance gain for money spent. Get the 1070 Ti and use remaining money on better peripherals or RAM or whatever you need. Hope it helps!

Desktop: Intel i7-8086K, Asus ROG Maximus X Code (probably, still can’t decide), NZXT Kraken X62 280mm, Asus ROG Strix 1080 Ti, G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB (2 x 8GB) 3000MHz, Corsair CX750M PSU, be quiet! Dark Base Pro 900 Inverted, Samsung 960 Pro M.2 PCIe 500GB SSD, Samsung 850 Evo SATA 250GB SSD, WD Black 1TB HDD.

Laptop: Coming Soon

Peripherals: Razer Deathadder Elite Chroma, Razer Ornata Chroma, HyperX Cloud II Headset, Corsair Very-Large Mouse Mat
