Which is better for streaming

So i need to essentially re-stream a live stream using one of 2 PC's. Which should i use?

 

i3 2120 with 4GB DDR3

 

or 

 

Core2Duo E7600 with 8GB DDR2

 

for streaming 720p30 to youtube.

The i3 will be better, but they'll both be pretty painful. Core2duos are almost unusable anymore.

It should be too bad since im essentially just streaming a video at 720p.

Honestly, neither will be great, but you want the best compute power possible. So the 2120 would be your best bet... 

Again, it won't look great still. I'd recommend at least an i5 or better for dedicated streaming PC.

You may be able to get away with the i3 if you're not doing anything intensive on the side, or you opt for hardware encoding.  But I'd stretch for an i5 2400 at least, which are still inexpensive.
