Should I do air cooling or liquid cooling?

So, It's been awhile since I last built my last pc build and as you will see from the pics below I have sold most of my hardware. The question which I would like help with is whether it would be better to opt for a liquid cooler over an air cooler or vice versa in the situation I'm in. As you will see this is where I will place my future pc and what I have currently. The second to last photo Is how I will place it, but the last one is when I push it to the very corner of the cabinet (so you kind of get an idea of the space I'm working with). What configuration should I go with to maximize airflow, lower heating and make sure that it doesn't collect any dust or do any damage to hardware? The cabinet door has slits to allow some air into the cabinet. I feel that I should opt for a liquid because I feel an air cooler will starve the system from the air and cause overheating.  It's been awhile and I won't be placing it out in the open like I did the last time I built a pc. Any help or input is appreciated, thank you for your time.:)

In this situation, air and water cooling would be the same if the rad for the water cooling loop was in the desk.

What about if you cut a 360mm/240mm etc hole in the back of you desk that allow you to mount a raditor to it, then run your loop outside your case and exchaust heat outside of your desk. This would be pointless though if you were just going to blow it into the wall behind your desk, so maybe cut the hole in the side of the cabinet.

important figure in mensa

Prolly won’t end good regardless. If the cabinet doesn’t have airflow, neither will the case. Not in the correct direction anyway.

why would you bother building a nice computer just to then hide it in that ugly ass cabinet?

Personally...if it was me, i would probably save the money you'll waste on cooling and buy a new computer desk intead...

Your computer will suffocate inside that cabinet due to the limited/restricted air flow

You could try to solve the issue by installing some fans in the backside of the cabinet.

After you've inproved the airflow, you could definitely use an AIO cooler though.

I've linked two videos that Linus does covering cabinet airflow. after that either one would work pretty much equally well though for spaces like that I tend to lean towards liquid cooling if not for better performance than for better acoustics kind of. Also I have no idea what I'm talking about so there's that... xD
