ASUS ROG Strix XG258Q:

- NVIDIA GSync: no

- AMD FreeSync: yes

BenQ ZOWIE 25" DyAc LED XL2546

- NVIDIA GSync: no

- AMD FreeSync: no

The ROG has Freesync the AMD thing, and the other doesn't have any of them.

Why do so many pro users buy it then ? Isnt their screen like tearing a lot?

For example, the ROG has a response time of 1 ms.

Plus, if they have an AMD card, they can use the FreeSync feature of the monitor. Obviously, that's not the case with an NVIDIA GPU, but then you still have a max refresh rate of 240 Hz... assuming your GPU is able to reach this.
