1070 or 1070 TI ?

I was wondering if these are good cards and which one I should go for, the 1070 or 1070 TI

Wait a bit for the prices to fall some more and get a nice GPU like 1070Ti or 1080, Nvidia announced that next-gen will be a "long time". Out of those, 1070Ti for sure

I've been debating this myself and while I've just given up and am going to wait for next gen, I think that especially for that price that the 1070 ti makes more sense since it's so close to a 1080 in performance while being closer to a 1070 in price rn.

Even at MSRP the 1070 is redundant. The Ti is barely more expensive but does offer quite a sizeable performance increase. I got my 1070Ti from Nvidia directly at MSRP and the 1070 was only €40 less at €429 vs €469. Less than 10%.

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro

Get the 1070 Ti. The price difference between the two is small nowadays but the performance boost that you will get is worth it.
