old build - upgrade or sell?

I have an old gaming desktop that was purchased from a neighbour maybe 2 years ago and I was wondering if it was worth upgrading or if I should just sell it and start a new build.
Intel core 2 duo e8400
gtx 650ti
650w psu
asus pq5 pro motherboard
500gb HDD (I have other hard drives lying around from laptops and old desktops.)
big antec case

4gb ddr2 ram

windows vista (which I hate)

Just sell, can't save a Core 2 rig no more

if the motherboard is compatible you can get a core quad for cheap and another GPU, but i wouldn't sink too much money into it
