They've been out for a long time actually, there are two revisions of the Acer.

They use an LG panel, Freesync supportive. Pretty nice displays IMO.

Their both pretty much the same, just one of them is a bit bigger with a few more vertcal pixels.

LG makes a similar monitor - I think they use the same panel.
