Switch Decisions - Need Advice

So in my hunt for a switch to fit INSIDE my media panel (Max width is 14.25") I have narrowed down my choices to these two. I've never used Netgear's or D-Link's web management software and its not even really something I need but out of the two which would you choose?

 

Netgear ProSAFE (JGS524PE)

D-Link DGS-1100-24P

 

Two other choices would be these Cisco's but I don't like that they don't have POe.

 

Cisco WS-C2960L-16TS-LL

Cisco SG112-24

If you dont need POE, dont get it. You'll have a better luck with CISCO switches.

I have one Ubiquiti AP that needs POE but honestly I could just use the injector since it's just a single device.

I would go with the netgear, Lifetime warranty shows they have trust in their products lasting a decent time and the port cunt, number of POE ports and many other aspects are the same, but the netgear is cheaper. But I agree with the above, Cisco commends so much of the market for a reason.

POE honestly shortens lifespans of switches because of the amount of heat even when only one device is using it. Hit up an injector, its cheap enough and can be done fairly easily.

What about a Meraki 8port POE switch? Depending on the number of ports needed that could work too.

3 year license + switch should run you about $250 or so.

How many ports do you need? do you need managed? Basically what are you using it for. Spoiler, i'm going to suggest something from tp-link.

I was gonna say, if the OP doesn't actually need any management functions, get one of the TP-Link unmanaged switches, with the correct number of ports. They're my go-to brand for unmanaged switches.
