The problem is I can't get many of the products you mentioned in Norway. I can mainly buy from big brands like asus, msi, gigabyte, intel, etc.

PcPartPicker says this will cost 1,233$ but it's closer to 1700$. And this is about as cheap as I can get it with these specs.

You should have said that you live in Norway. I assumed that you lived in the US because you used PCPP US.

For the CPU cooler, change it to the Pure Rock Slim or 212 Evo. Or use the stock cooler. You won't overclock the 8400 anyway. The H7 is also an option, if you want a better cooler for future use.

Looking at the prices, yeah, the Z370-P is fine.

For RAM, consider the Ballistix Sport for the same price, or the 3200MHz CL15 Ballistix Elite for 100kr more.

The 256GB SU800 is available in Norway for a decent price.

The P300 is fine, the Barracuda 2TB is also available for the same price, if you want that.

The Asus RX 580 4GB is quite a lot cheaper than the 1060 6GB version you picked.

There are plenty of cases to choose from.

The Pure Power 10 is a bit cheaper and quieter option than the TXM. Get the 400W or 500W version. The TXM is a decent choice too, though. For a bit more, there are things like the RM750x, which costs the same as the 550W and 650W ones, for whatever reason.

I would get a Seagate or WD hard drive and replace the PSU with a CX550M personally.

Nothing really, but it's not really worth paying extra for a 1060 over the 580 unless you really need cuda.

Change out the AiO for an air cooler. For a budget option, the M9i or Pure Rock Slim. If you want one you can use for future higher power builds, something like the Dark Rock 3/4 or H5.

Change the motherboard for a cheaper board, you won't be overclocking the 8400 anyway. If you want Z370 for the higher memory speeds, get a cheaper Z370 board. The Z370-P is crap, the cheaper ones aren't really worse.

Consider changing the RAM to one that is more neutrally coloured?

Change the SSD to the SU800. It's a bit cheaper and better.

There's a 2TB Hitachi 7200RPM 64MB HDD for $54, and a 3TB for $58. Consider changing the HDD to one of those.

There's an Asus RX 580 4GB available for $255 after rebate, consider that one instead of the 1060 6GB. It'll perform pretty much the same (a bit better/worse depending on the game), and you get Freesync support.

Change the case to one that has airflow. As in, any airflow at all. The Enso is not a case, it's a hot box.

The build will draw under 300W, change the PSU to the Whisper M 450W.

You can get a Windows key from Reddit or Kinguin for $25.

:)

Did you look at the build I linked you? It's only slightly more and you get a 1070ti.

Some small things, first of all
Don't get a Toshiba HDD
A Z370 board isn't needed since the I5 8400 is not a unlocked CPU

For around 5 dollars more you can get  G.Skill Trident z RGB 3000 MHZ 16 GB kit.
Honestly, just looks better and a higher MHZ too.

Get windows from a third party site like Kinguin or SCD Keys.
