SO on newegg i found a prebuilt that seemed reasonable with a 1080ti, it seemed like a good deal because a 1080ti can be anywhere between $800-1000

My question is if it is worth the price just beacuse of the 1080ti and i do understand pre built pc's are bad.

If I were to get a prebuilt, I'd get one from NZXT's BLD service. Prices per component are more or less MSRP, and they actually use good PSUs.

If you asked a month ago or earlier, it probably would've been worth it to get a pre-built just to get a system with a video card that wasn't price gouged. The landscape's changed a bit, so now it's a question of whether or not you want to pay for the service of having a computer built for you, among the other perks the company may or may not have.

In parts alone, my WAG for that computer is about ~$1400-$1500 ( I don't feel like going on PCPP right now :P )

Thats not really a pre-built... more like a custom pc that someone else put together. I'd price it against cyberpowerpc to see if its a good deal or not. Im sure the power supply is dodgy so if cyberpowerpc can make something similar for the same price i'd go with them so you can pick out your power supply brand.

Welli looked on bld and a 1070ti build cost me 2000 so thats why i thought this was a ok build since it had a 1080ti. Also it had a worse cpu on top of that, all it had that would bump that price so high is the 3200mhz ram
