Do you need a beefy cpu for a server ??

I have built a small server (like really small 5tb) just for personal use, I have got a amd 8800p cpu and wondering if that is enough to run it??

it depends on what you want to do with your server and how quick. What do you want to use the server for

C

Intel

If it's only for one or few users the CPU isn't a serious bottleneck (assuming you're using 1Gbit) it will become a bottleneck if you have multiple services running all at one for multiple users but just acting as a little NAS it's probably more powerful than your all-in-one NAS units. I'd opt for more appropriate hardware but what you've got will get the job done.

erver hardware is normally overrated

server hardware is required for emulating the raspberry pi 3B while running it on windows vista Ultimate...
