Posted May 12, 2018 Hello there, people interested in servers probably have heard of KVM / iKVM / IPMI modules. These are network attached remote control modules, which can be used to administer a server (or workstation). An example can be found here. I would really love to have something like that on my consumer Asus motherboard. I can't seem to find any reliable information regarding IPMI chips on consumer boards. There are workstation oriented boards supporting these, but they are to expensive. These KVM modules should be featured in a LTT video imo. Posted May 12, 2018 I think I asked similar before for a KVM that supported networked video. I was pointed at IP-KVMs and I found it difficult to locate any that didn't cost a lot. These work externally so should be compatible with anything.
